The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) was held on 6th January by XLRI Jamshedpur in an online mode. It has much value in various colleges and institutes. Besides, the Xavier Associate Management institutes, there are around 150 other B-schools that accept XAT scores. Students must know the XAT exam and its acceptable score in these colleges. 1. IMT Ghaziabad
Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad is a famous business school. The application status for the management college is still open, and you are free to apply for it. To be a part of IMT you need to have at least 90 percentile in your XAT score. The college consistently ranked as one of the best B-Schools in India. It is an AICTE approved business school that offers various programmes like a postgraduate diploma and executive education and distance learning programmes in management.
2. Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur
The institute is ranked as the number one MBA colleges in our country. It was established in 1949. The college is known to impart the quality education to lakhs of students. XLRI also accepts XAT scores. To be a part of it you need to score approximately 96 percentile in the CAT exam. The college offers a degree in programmes like PGDM, FPM, MBA, and PGD.
3. SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai
SPJIMR is a leading school of management which was established in the year 1981. It is located in the heart of India’s financial centre, Mumbai. It is currently ranked at 3rd number among the top MBA colleges in India. SPJIMR accepts XAT scores, and to be eligible for this college, a candidate must have at least 85 percentile in XAT. Here, courses like PGDM, PGPM, and FPM are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and other courses like PGDM, PGPM, PGEMP, and PGPFMB are accredited by the Association of MBAs, UK.
4. XIM Bhubaneswar
Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) is among the top 10 business schools in India. It is located in Bhubaneswar, the capital of the eastern Indian state of Odisha. It was founded in 1987. XIM is governed by the Government of India, the Government of Odisha, and the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). It also accepts XAT scores but to qualify for this college, a candidate must have scored at least 90 percentile or a score of above in the XAT exam.
The institute works in collaboration with the government department and is known to carry out research and development activities. XIM is the Centre of Excellence in Fiscal Policy, and Taxation (CEFT) set up by the state government.
5. MICA Ahmedabad
MICA was established in 1991. It is one of the renowned institutes in the field of imparting strategic marketing and communication techniques. The institute offers various fellowship and certification programs in the area of Marketing Research, Brand Management, Advertising management and a lot more. To be a part of MICA, you need to score 80 percentile in the XAT exam. The application form for the college is available online and the interested candidates are having the score mentioned above in the XAT exam can apply for it.
6. Xavier Business School (XBS) Kolkata
XBS accepts applications from qualified and interested candidates for a full-time two year MBA program. The college also takes XAT scores. To qualify for XBS, a candidate must have a 75 percentile score or above in the XAT exam. The college also provides specialisation options in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and System and Operations. The college conducts a group discussion, and personal interview round for the candidates is scoring 75 percentile or above in the XAT exam.
7. IPE Hyderabad
It was established in 1964. It is among the top colleges offering MBA programmes around the country. The institute is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. It provides various 2-year PG courses in different fields of management. To be eligible for this college, a candidate must have a XAT score of 75 percentile or above. Apart from this, a candidate’s performance will be evaluated based on their ratings in Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.
